Our story
The company was established in 2017 with a vision to solve critical engineering challenges in biowaste management and transforming biomass into valuable products. To this day, the founders remain committed to the company and provide invaluable expertise in technology and R&D as well as funding.
First pilot facility built
In 2017, Pelleton Renewables built its first pilot facility in Lesa, Italy. Italy has provided an excellent base from which to test the plant in all different weather conditions, being next to the local sewage plant, and has proven the capabilities of the technology.
Incorporation of Singapore HQ
Pelleton Renewables Pte Ltd was set up in Singapore as HQ for the group due to the proximity of emerging agricultural markets and customers in Australia as well as South East Asia.
First full scale plant built
In 2019, Pelleton Renewables Pte Ltd completed the build of its first semi commercial plant in Australia. The facility which had been viewed by many stakeholders provided an excellent representation of how unique our pelletization technology is.
USA patents granted
Pelleton Renewables received approval of its first patents in the USA in 2021
USA plant constructed
Our first USA plant was constructed in 2022. It served as a great platform from which to demonstrate the capabilities of both the plant and product technology and has been viewed by a number of engaged stakeholders.
Patents & industrial scaling progress
Pelleton Renewables received approvals for its Europe, Australia, Indonesia and Malaysian patents in the second half of 2022. As of mid-2023 major milestones have been achieved in scaling industrial plants with key customers.
